El Olympic Centre en Ventspils el 2 de marzo se celebró la final letona, en un programa presentado por Ija Circene & Eriks Niedra.
El ganador fue seleccionado por televoto y como curiosidad, la ganadora, Marija Naumova ganó con "I wonna" y posteriormente cambió el título de la canción por "I wanna".

Marie N (Marija Naumova) es descendiente rusa y símbolo del pop latino que nos llega desde el este de Europa, el año pasado fue la segunda candidata para representar a su país en eurovisión
I wanna... Una canción con estilo latino que no se por qué pero que me suena muchísimo a alguna canción de Ricky Martin, tiene posibilidades de triunfo sobre todo por su penúltimo puesto de salida y sólo si Europa está por la labor de votar latino.
Sin embargo las encuestas no son muy favorables a su canción, posiblemente porque el estilo latino en un país que no lo es no pega demasiado.
